Ken’s experience was most helpful in the sale of our restuanant business and its real estate. Ken co-brokered the transaction getting us maximum value for both the business and the real estate. His operations and construction background came into play after the passing of my husband. We were up against a major hurdle regarding an open permit with the city of Pismo Beach that went back several years. The permit had to be closed and sign off before the sales transaction could close escrow.

The amount of work appeared insurmountable. Ken stepped in and worked through the open issues with the City (which included working with the neighboring properties, modifying drainage issues on the property, took care of putting the plans and engineering together, getting the actual work complete, and a final signoff by the City simultaneously with the closing of escrow.

Additionally, Ken’s experience in working with both the Seller’s and Buyer’s legal counsel made the execution of the contracts go extremely smooth for both the business and the real estate.

I would highly recommend his services for any individual or company having operational or entitlement issues in addition to the buying or selling of  a restaurant from start to finish. The follow-through was outstanding.
